Season Ticket Prices Announced

After securing promotion to League One on Saturday, Vale have been quick to capitalise on the feel good factor by announcing their season ticket prices for next season.

The cheapest Adult ticket equates to just over 13 a game and with Chairman Paul Wildes stating his ambitious plan to see the Valiants push for back to back promotions, few could argue with that.

With some attractive looking fixtures against sides such as Coventry City, Preston North End and neighbours Crewe Alex, as well as potential games with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United, it is shaping up to be an exciting campaign.

Wildes told the Port Vale Official Site: "Although we appreciate that some supporters have experienced a small rise in the cost of their Season Ticket, it`s important to underline that this isn't about profit for the football club.

"All of the money we secure through the sale of Season Tickets will be reinvested in the product on the pitch. We want to have a competitive League One side and build on the success of this campaign - our fans can help us in that by booking their place for next season.

"The atmosphere at Vale Park on Saturday illustrated just how incredible our support can be - and has been - all season. We want to recreate that kind of atmosphere for every home fixture and I truly believe our fans can help us to do just that next season and beyond."

The walk up prices on match days have risen to 22 (23 in the Lorne Street) which may deter some, although the club have suggested that they will be offering blocks of tickets for supporters who cannot attend all home games. This looks set to be introduced along with a new online ticketing service shortly.
