Vale`s new owners Paul Wildes and Norman Smurthwaite continue to demonstrate some excellent initiative with the news that ticket prices for the club`s potential crucial game with Burton Albion will revert to those charged the last time the Valiants secured promotion in 1994.
Tickets for adults will be priced at £9 and concessions at £6.50, while home shirts will be available for sale in the club shop for £19.94 from March 21st to April 5th. Members of that squad will be attending the game which will also double up as a celebration of the 20th anniversary of Vale`s Autoglass Trophy win over Stockport County.
Chairman Paul Wildes told the Official Site "The Burton game is a critical one for us and it would be great if we can fill Vale Park with as many fans as possible.
"This is about celebrating our past but supporting our future. It will be great to remind everyone of the successes of 1994 but we also want to create our own success.
It would be great if we can do that sooner rather than later but we are not taking anything for granted, that`s why the support of our fan base is critical.
"Hopefully, everyone will come down, reminisce about old times and back the team for our penultimate home game of the season."
*The ticket offer is only available to Vale fans*
