'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vital Player Of The Month

Tom Pope was named by Vital Vale readers as Vale`s Player of the Month for January, taking 63% of the votes. The striker, who has recently extended his stay at Vale Park by signing a new two year deal, played an instrumental role in Vale`s move to the top of League Two.

Two goals against Plymouth Argyle, followed by a crucial goal in the top of the table clash at Gillingham, proved decisive. Pope followed up with his 27th of the season in the televised game at AFC Wimbledon to display his predatory instincts to a wider audience.
