Dons Hopeful Over Vale Fixture

AFC Wimbledon remain hopeful that Thursday`s fixture with the Vale will go ahead despite the recent inclement weather. The Dons are appealing to supporters to help clear up to 3 inches of snow from the playing area on Wednesday, with the plan then to cover the pitch to prevent it from freezing.

Both sides will be keen for the game, which is scheduled to be shown on Sky Sports to go ahead. Vale will be eager to extend their lead at the top of League 2 over second place Gillingham, while the home side will be hopeful of a positive result that will move them out of the relegation places.
