'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Match Postponed

Vale's game with Bradford City has fallen foul of the weather. Heavy snow in the Potteries has left the pitch unplayable despite the best efforts of Groundsman Steve Speed and his staff.

The club even hired hot air blowers in an attempt to get the game on and staff worked throughout the night, but to no avail.

Vale will remain top of League Two after Gillingham's game at Rochdale was also postponed. The Valiants next fixture will be on Thursday as Micky Adams' side travel to AFC Wimbledon for their televised clash with the Wombles.
