Vale Face Battle With Weather

In a welcome show of foresight, chairman Paul Wildes has confirmed that the club have hired warm air blowers in an attempt to get Saturday`s game with Bradford City on.

It is a nice change to see the new regime doing everything possible to get a game on, as many supporters had questioned why under previous ownership such action was never taken.

However, with heavy snow and even colder temperatures forecast for Friday, it may prove to no avail, which may come as a relief to the Bantams, who face a massive game on Tuesday when they defend a 3-1 first leg lead against Aston Villa in the semi final of the League Cup.
