Adams Names Walsall Side

Micky Adams has made the decision to rest several first team players, naming his side to play Walsall in the JPT tonight 24 hours early. With a number of players either carrying injuries or near to suspension, the Vale boss has opted to give his fringe players an opportunity. There will be a first start for goalkeeper Sam Johnson, while Adam Yates, Chris Shuker, Ryan Burge and Ben Williamson will all also start. Captain Doug Loft is set for a spell on the sidelines with a calf injury. The team will be as follows: Sam Johnson, Adam Yates, John McCombe, Richard Duffy, Rob Taylor, Jennison Myrie-Williams, Chris Shuker, Ryan Burge, Tom Pope, Ben Williamson and Ashley Vincent.
